I LIKED THE WHOLE YEAR OF 1982,THERE WAS NOT A WHOLE LOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MUSICALLY.WE STARTED DOWN AT THE CAP CENTER,IT STARTED PLAYIN'>CRAZY FINGERS,WHICH KINDA WEIRDED ME OUT,BUT I GUESS THE LARGE HANDFULL OF CAPS AND STEMS WAS THE REASON FOR SUCH WEIRDNESS.I THOUGHT WE MISSED THE FIRST SET BECAUSE PLAYIN' HAD NOT OPENED A SHOW 4 QUITE SOMETIME.NEXT WAS PORTLAND THEN BOSTON.THE SHOW IN THE GARDEN WAS REAL,REAL NICE,IT WAS THE KIND OF SHOW AFTER 2 SHOWS [LANDOVER,PORTLAND]THAT YOU KINDA TOOK IT EASY BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR BODY,AND JUST EAT A COUPLE OF QUAALUDES AND LOOK FORWARD TO N.Y.C..BOB DEDICATED SAMSON TO THE BUILDING WITH GOOD REASON.ALL IN ALL I GIVE THIS SHOW AN 8 OUT OF 10.

Yep, the old Garden was pretty nasty. Saw many shows, Celt's and Bruin's games there and was always wondering how long before it collapsed. However, this show is outstanding. High energy start to finish. Jerry's voice sounds particularly good and his playing is fantastic. As to the quality, I once thought that getting a good AUD out of that place was almost impossible, but sources like this show that it can be done. Great job and a great show from a great run. Hightly recommended.

finally, an AUD from this classic run.
The whole show is good.
Highlights: Jackstraw>Sugaree to open.
West L.A. (the hottest one ever IMO)
Dupree's was played 3 shows in a row (09/17,18 & 20)
Superb SET II w a nice UJB and mellow Baby Blue encore.
Get this version - the SBD has no soul.
